My Story

I have always enjoyed tea, but in the beginning I mainly enjoyed it for the taste. Little did I know that there could be so much more to it.

I would periodically drink tea, off and on, throughout the years. It was my go to when I was sick. So when I recently went through some medical changes this past year, I decided to look a little deeper into this rich drink. Little did I know I would fall in love with everything "tea".

Herbs are the main body of tea. But to be considered a "tea", the combination of herbs has to include a tea leave, whether it be green tea, oolong, black tea, etc. But what happens when you don't have a tea leaf and you just have a combination of herbs? In this case you get an infusion, or a tisane. But to keep it simple, we stick with "tea".

This past year I was going through some medical changes and looking for alternative treatments to help get me through while my doctor sorted out my treatments. I was really looking for relief from my symptoms but I discovered a whole world of forgotten remedies. I found that chamomile calmed my nerves while working together with lavender to help me relax. I found that catnip helped promote dopamine, also known as the "happiness hormone", and vervain helped me to sleep. I began experimenting with different herbal combinations and began to have fun with concocting different drinks, so much fun in fact I roped my husband into it as well.

After a while I began thinking about why these remedies were lost to time and what we can do to bring them back. Tea has been around for centuries so why did we forget that there was more to them than just enjoyment. Why can't we enjoy and promote wellness? And why keep this rediscovery to ourselves? So we came up with Cozy Jones Tea where we combine the enjoyment with the remedies. There should be no reason that we can't enjoy our medicines. Each herbal blend is carefully crafted with wellness and taste in mind. So if you're like me and you are looking for an alternative treatment to your everyday ailments without sacrificing taste, then look no farther than Cozy Jones Tea. We hope you find serenity and wellness in every cup.

Happy sipping!
